If you could bring your pup to the office, would you?
Many organizations are becoming increasingly pet friendly and their employees are more balanced, creative and happier because of it. Imagine how great it would be if you received a nasty email that causes you to utter something under your breath, only to look down and see your pooch curled up for a cozy nap by your desk. We all know that our dogs make us more active and healthy, but they also do a world of good for our mental state. I'm all for allowing pets at the office, and am happy to see more companies embracing their four legged family members.

The benefits are vast, but include increased productivity and morale, willingness to stay late, increased comraderie among employees and decreased stress levels. Here's hoping 2012 brings more businesses that embrace a pet-friendly office!
